From Mr. Siefert: We are aware of the issues many of your students are having when they attempt to connect to your wireless networks at home. As we work with Tech Support, we believe the issue may be related to our Safe Schools filter, but we are testing all possibilities.
Below is the message that was sent to our staff this morning.
If you have given a homework assignment or project that requires your students to use their device online off of our campus, please be aware that many students are having issues with their devices connecting to Wi-Fi when not at PHS. The technology department is aware of this issue. Please be understanding of your students and find ways to make this work for the time being.
Please be assured we are working diligently to resolve the issue.
Door 1 (main entrance) and Door 7 (athletic entrance) will open daily this year at 7:20 am. Students who need to be dropped off earlier can work in the vestibule at both doors.
Freshman Orientation is today at 9:00 am! Lunch will be provided and freshman should pick up their device after lunch. Please allow for 30 minutes for device pickup.
Senior device pickup is underway at PHS.
