PLAINFIELD COMMUNITY SCHOOL CORPORATION TECHNOLOGY

Plainfield Community School Corporation is a technology rich environment offering students and staff access to a variety of hardware and software. Classroom technology includes: Projectors, Interactive Boards, Student Response Systems, Document Cameras, and Wireless Infrastructure. All teachers have access to a laptop and most classrooms have 2-3 student computers. There are also computer labs available in each building. Some of the software products used in our schools are listed below:

Plainfield High School will be going 1:1 in the 2015-16 school year. During the 2013-14 school year three classrooms were selected to begin a pilot program. The pilot program will be expanded to five classrooms in 2014-15. Teachers at PHS are actively building digital curriculum on Schoology and experimenting with a variety of software and hardware tools.
