On March 1, 2023, all juniors will take the SAT, a high school graduation requirement – so preparing for it is a must. To help students with preparation, PHS is hosting an SAT Prep Day, on Saturday, February 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. During this session, students will be given tips on how to raise their SAT scores.
\t“There is a teacher there to help you and explain things you might not understand,” said junior Katelynn Jones, “like how it’s better to not leave questions blank and how to best portion your time.” This will then give students other opportunities to further ready themselves for the SAT, along with their independent study techniques.
\t“I take my time studying and talk with my peers to make sure I have my information straight,” said Jones, who also suggested bringing a computer, a pencil, a calculator and tons of snacks.”
