Plainfield High School has entered a new era! Our Fortnite team traveled to the Riverview Health Arena this past Saturday and captured the State Title with a decisive 8-4 victory over the Indiana Digital Learning School (INDLS). This monumental win marks the first time an esports team from PHS has ever gone to state, and they are coming home as champions. This victory caps off an incredible season, with the team finishing with a dominant 13-2 overall record.
The championship roster—comprised of Braden Glenn, Valentin Murillo, Isaiah Simon, and FrankE Perez—showcased incredible skill and teamwork under the bright lights in Noblesville. Despite the pressure of the state stage and the professional commentary, these four players stayed focused and proved why they were the team to beat. The future of PHS esports looks incredibly bright, and we expect this team to be a force in the state for years to come.
Congratulations to Braden, Valentin, Isaiah, and FrankE on a spectacular season—you have made PHS proud!
