good-men

The seniors in our IU dual credit composition course are taking a modern, conversational approach to academic research. To prepare for their upcoming major analytical paper, students have swapped traditional outlines for podcast-style discussions. These sessions allow students to orally synthesize their sources, debating the complex themes of the classic legal drama A Few Good Men through a scholarly lens. By articulating their arguments out loud, students are finding new ways to connect cinematic moments with the rigorous academic evidence required for their college-level portfolios.

This project not only sharpens their rhetorical skills but also challenges them to think critically about the real-world forces that shape our moral compass. Well done, Quakers!
