Our Broadcasting students are making PHS proud! Several students are earning statewide recognition for their outstanding work in broadcasting and journalism, continuing a tradition of excellence across multiple programs.
At the recent Indiana Association of School Broadcasters awards, several students were honored for their achievements in sports media and production:
David Louden — Honorable Mention, Football Play-by-Play
David Louden — 2nd Place, Video Sports Package
Lee Phanor — 2nd Place, Motion Graphics
Plainfield students were also recognized by the Indiana High School Press Association, with awards announced this year based on submissions from the previous school year:
Nolan Wasmer, Jordan Robertson, Canaan Yates — 2nd Place in State, “Daryn Wright” Video Package
Jasha Tomastic, Kendra Dick — 3rd Place in State, “Plainfield Biomedical Sciences Feature”
These recognitions reflect the dedication, talent, and hard work of Plainfield’s student broadcasters and journalists. Their success not only showcases their individual skills but also reinforces the strength of the school’s media and communications programs.
