Students in AP Seminar are beginning an exciting research process by exploring the College Board’s stimulus sources to brainstorm meaningful research questions based on real-world problems. These sources provide a variety of perspectives that encourage students to think critically about complex issues affecting communities and society.

Throughout the project, students will read and analyze academic sources to deepen their understanding of their chosen topics. They will then develop research-based arguments and present potential solutions supported by evidence. Some of the broad topics students are exploring include the importance of “third spaces” in communities, the relationship between infrastructure and ecology, and how positive social connections can impact overall health and well-being.
