Our DECA students made a strong showing at this year’s state conference, which welcomed a record-breaking 2,600 students from across the state. Competing among the best of the best, our representatives demonstrated professionalism, preparation, and true Red Pride.
Congratulations to our DECA State Winners:
Channing Chastain earned Second Place in Principles of Entrepreneurship and qualified for International DECA competition. Jackson Pierle placed 4th in Automotive Services Marketing, also earning a spot at Internationals. Preston Irving finished 4th in the Financial Consulting Event, while Eli Jackson placed 6th in Automotive Services Marketing, qualifying for nationals.
Additional Top Ten Finalists include: Nolan Tucker in Hospitality and Tourism Professional Selling, Tyler Simek in the Financial Consulting Event, Tarika Khanna in Personal Financial Literacy (also receiving the Exam Competency Award), Adisyn Gorrell in the Hotel and Lodging Management Event, and Ava Weaver in Marketing Communications.
