The Life Skills class wrapped up their exciting unit on the solar system last week, and they did it in a way that was truly out of this world! To celebrate all they’ve learned, students transformed into a living model of the solar system.
Students each took on the role of a planet, orbiting the “sun” while also rotating just like the real planets do. With the help of staff members and peers acting as asteroids and stars, the classroom became a dynamic, hands-on demonstration of how our solar system works.
This interactive experience not only reinforced key concepts from the unit but also allowed students to learn through movement, collaboration, and creativity. It was a stellar way to conclude their study of space!
