Congratulations to our talented show choir students, show crew, and show band on an outstanding performance at the Southmont Show Choir Invitational this past weekend!
Both competitive ensembles delivered impressive results. Femmes Fatales, led by Best Performer Cali Clark, and Belles et Beaux, led by Best Performer Will Coffelt, were each named Second Runners-up in their divisions. The competition was incredibly close—Belles finished just 0.4 points behind second place, while Femmes were only 0.2 away—showcasing the high level of excellence on stage.
In an exciting debut performance for the season, Nouvelles captured the title of GRAND CHAMPIONS and earned Best Vocals. Katie Lopez was recognized as Best Performer, and Kacen Nichols received honors as Best Soloist in a show—an incredible achievement for the group’s first outing of the year.
Plainfield students also excelled in the vocal solo competition. Kiersten Farley placed 3rd, Juliana Harris earned 4th, and Cali Clark rounded out the top five with a 5th-place finish.
The excitement continues this weekend as Plainfield hosts QCI on Friday and Saturday. Don’t miss the chance to support our fantastic show choirs at our home competition—and be sure to catch Vogue as they make their contest debut Friday night!
