Plainfield High School is celebrating an unforgettable stretch of athletic success, highlighted by championships, historic firsts, and outstanding teamwork across multiple programs.

The PHS Boys Basketball team dominated over the weekend--becoming Hendricks County Champs for the first time since 2009! The Quakers beat Avon 63-28 and then proceeded to conquer Brownsburg with an impressive performance! The Quakers came out on top with 74 points over the bulldogs with 49. Noah Smith lead with 19 points, Harper Baker-Lands with 17, and Chase Swafford with 12. Congratulations!

Additionally, our Lady Quakers defeated Brownsburg 60-54 to take home the Hendricks County Championship for the 3rd straight season. Berkley Williams had a strong game with 19 points, Moriah Armstrong with 15 points, Hannah Menser with 13 points, and Caroline Pugh with 8 points to bring the Quakers out on top! Well done Lady Quakers!

The PHS Boys Swimming and Diving team became the 2026 Conference Champions! This is the first time in 3 years for them to achieve this! The team exhibited amazing performances with many lifetime bests!

History was made for Plainfield Wrestling as junior Ariana Quezada became the first female wrestler in school history to qualify for the IHSAA State Girls Wrestling Championships.

Quezada placed third at the Muncie Central Regional, earning her spot at the State Finals and cementing her place in Plainfield athletics history.

Two other Quakers also represented Plainfield well at Regionals:

  • Jozlyn Journey-Gilbert

  • Kylee Clark

While they did not advance, both competed with grit and pride. Congratulations to all three athletes on an outstanding postseason run.

From the basketball court to the wrestling mat to the pool, Plainfield student-athletes continue to make their mark. Championships have been won, history has been made, and the Quakers are proving that teamwork, dedication, and school pride lead to something special.

Go Quakers!
