Plainfield High School is proud to recognize several student-athletes for outstanding accomplishments that highlight both athletic excellence and leadership.
Senior Caroline Pugh was honored with the prestigious Richard P. Jennings Scholarship at the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Classic in New Castle. This award recognizes exemplary students who demonstrate excellence on the court, in the classroom, and through leadership. Caroline’s dedication, character, and hard work make her truly deserving of this honor, and PHS congratulates her on this well-earned recognition.
Senior Berkley Williams was honored with being named to the Hall of Fame All-Classic Tournament Team at the end of December. Berkley has shown her commitment to not only building the team at PHS, but also proving that she is a top contender on the court!
In addition to this achievement, two PHS basketball players reached an impressive scoring milestone this season. Junior Hannah Menser celebrated a career accomplishment by scoring her 1,000th career point, a testament to her consistency, determination, and impact on the court. On the boys’ side, Noah Smith also surpassed the 1,000 career point mark, joining an elite group of scorers in PHS basketball history. Congratulations to Caroline, Hannah, and Noah on these remarkable achievements—your success reflects the dedication and pride of Quaker athletics.
