As the semester draws to a close and students navigate the busy final days of classes and assessments, there is still plenty to celebrate at Plainfield High School. Even during finals, our students continue to shine through leadership, service, and academic excellence.
Multiple Plainfield High School students were recently recognized through the Plainfield Youth Optimist of the Year Awards, an honor that celebrates outstanding character, leadership, and service within our community. These students exemplify the values of integrity and dedication that make our school community proud.

The spirit of generosity has also been on full display. Multiple student groups participated in toy donation drives, collecting gifts to support local families and children in need. These efforts reflect the compassion and teamwork of our students, who consistently look for ways to make a positive impact beyond the classroom.

In academics, the We the People team delivered an impressive performance by placing at the state competition. Their success is a testament to countless hours of preparation, critical thinking, and collaboration, as well as a strong commitment to civic education and engagement.

As we wrap up the semester, these achievements serve as a reminder that learning at Plainfield High School extends far beyond the classroom. Our students continue to lead, serve, and excel—making our school community proud even during one of the busiest times of the year.
