Members of Plainfield High School’s 3487 Red Pride Robotics team recently joined several other robotics teams at Allison Transmission’s STEM Day, an event designed to inspire future innovators and strengthen connections between students and industry professionals.

The day provided a valuable opportunity for students to share their enthusiasm for robotics and technology with Allison employees. Team members showcased their robot, discussed their design and build process, and exchanged ideas with other teams and engineers.

The event not only allowed students to demonstrate their technical skills but also encouraged collaboration, problem-solving, and networking—skills that are essential both in robotics and beyond.

Red Pride Robotics continues to build on experiences like these as they prepare for upcoming competitions and work to inspire interest in STEM across the Plainfield community.
