Principal Brent Schwanekamp had the honor of presenting IHSAA Sportsmanship Pins to Junior Bailey Errett and Senior Emma Conners for their outstanding leadership and vision in organizing this week’s special soccer match supporting a PHS family battling cancer.
These two student-athletes—and their teammates—demonstrate the very best of what high school sports can be: teamwork, compassion, and a commitment to making a difference on and off the field. Their efforts show how athletics can unite a school community around a meaningful cause.
This recognition is part of the Indiana High School Athletic Association’s (IHSAA) “Face of Sportsmanship” campaign, which highlights the importance of positive behavior at athletic events and celebrates those who serve as role models for others.
Bailey and Emma have truly embodied the #FaceOfSportsmanship, inspiring classmates and fans alike to show respect, kindness, and integrity—values that reach far beyond the scoreboard.
