These pictures show you a glimpse into a day of a preschool student at LQA. As academic standards have grown more rigorous over the years, one aspect we tend to forget, one that is vitally important for early childhood students, is play. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, "Play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength."
While we work on academics at LQA every day, we also provide all of our students with time to play! The teachers at LQA actively plan play experiences that will provide child opportunities to grow in all areas of their social, emotional, physical, and academic lives.
