A new crosswalk has been painted on the South parking lot. This is one more way we are at work to provide a safe environment for our students at LQA. Please use the crosswalk at all times to safely reach the entrance to LQA or Clarks Creek. In the mornings, you will most likely see the assistant principal, Mrs. Colleen Perry, outside making sure our children are safely entering the building.
Morning drop off and afternoon pick up are the busiest times in the parking lot. Please make every effort to use the crosswalk with or without your child. If you are a family that drops off in the mornings, please refrain from parking in the Clarks Creek car riders lane until after 8:50 AM. After 8:50 AM, we feel more confident that Clarks Creek students have been dropped off and are safely in our school building. This would also apply to families picking up students at 3:15 PM.
You may have noticed the new signs on door 4 and door 5, too! Please remember that door 4 is always locked and, if you need access into the building outside of the times we open door 4, you will need to enter door number 1.
