
Our kindergarteners learn about Fire Safety every school year with a special visit from the PFT. Thank you for all that you do to help us! We love our community partners.





3rd grade fun trying to solve the mystery of the candy thief! Another great example of how students are using the 4Cs daily to help build their problem solving and critical thinking skills.






We LOVE our partnership with PHS and HOSA! Students from the HOSA class came over to teach some hands-on pumpkin math to first graders!






Happy Veterans Day! Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grade students performed a wonderful Veterans Day concert for families and Veterans today.





1st graders were given the challenge of trying to get their 5 Little Pumpkins to stand on their "fence post" without falling. A great way for them to practice the 4C's!





We had a great two weeks of our Raise Craze Acts of Kindness and Paying it Forward! We finished things with a school-wide celebration and silly stringing of Mr. Setterlof and Mr. Carter!







5th grade had so much fun with their Fear Factor Challenge while celebrating Halloween!

4th graders celebrated hard work on Friday with a glow day!






Third graders enjoyed a visit from the National Children's Theatre via Duke Energy's energy conservation and renewable resources presentations. What a great and engaging way to learn about energy! We love our community partners!

Next week is Red Ribbon week! Students are welcome to dress up for the different themed days. Please note that Friday, October 27th will be our Halloween/costume dress-up day. Students will not wear costumes to school on October 31st/Halloween.

After learning about Native American tribes from Indiana and reading "Sarah, Plain and Tall", 3rd graders visited Conner Prairie to finish their Social Studies unit!

Annularity? Penumbra? Umbra? Totality? We bet you didn't know these are different types of eclipses! Students are learning at The Imagination Lab this month about these different wonders. They'll even get to create their own eclipse viewer in preparation for the total solar eclipse in April!

Celebrating Dot day in Mrs. Maple's class! Dot day is inspired by Peter Reynold's book "The Dot" where a student learns the importance of embracing the unknown, failure, and the courage to be yourself. What a great lesson!
