Our kindergarten and first grade students loved celebrating the 100th day of school recently with so many fun activities!
3rd graders enjoying their January Odyssey to The Imagination Lab. Students enjoyed the #HRH Health Lab where they worked on making an Integrity bracelet, solving a Health Heroes crossword puzzle, and writing about their Health Hero!

3rd graders are learning about forces and motion throughout January. Students created a "hopper" and practiced using pushes and pulls to see how high they could get their hopper to hop!

Monday was Ugly Sweater Day at Central!
Today we celebrated elf day at Central! This tradition was started many years ago by former elementary principal, Mr. Underwood. We (and all of the elementary schools) love continuing the tradition every December.
The Grinch even made an appearance at lunchtime today!

Every year at the end of November, 1st graders at Central read "Balloons Over Broadway" and learn about the history of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Students then have the opportunity to create their very own balloon for their Parade Walk through the halls of Central.

5th grade designing shelters for colonists and Native Americans that can withstand wind, rain, and snow! Supply and time constraints add a challenge to this STEM activity!

Mrs. Todd's 3rd grade class recently celebrated a Tied Together with Kindness day! Students were encouraged to wear tie-dye to celebrate.
4th graders did such a great job of showing their knowledge of the Scientific Method today at their Science Fair! Lots of great experiments!
