More Imagination Lab fun, this time with 4th graders and coding!

Central's School Resource Officer (SRO) is Officer Josh Turner.
Fondly called Officer Josh to many of the students, he loves coming into the classrooms to read to the students.
First graders read a story and then created their own story that was focused all around the aspects of what makes a good friend and friendships. Snacks were, of course, an important part of the activity!

Field Day fun today!
5th grade students had to choose an animal from the Indianapolis Zoo to research and create a 3D model to showcase the animal. This required creativity to design their animal using rectangular prisms and cubes, research skills, and they had to apply their volume skills to measure each body part and combined volumes for their whole animal!

Fourth graders collaborated with the PPD on their Science unit. Students and Officer Poston worked on some tests to see the skid/tread marks of different vehicles at different speeds.
Students enjoyed some fresh air creating log cabins after working hard on ILEARN last week!
