4th graders collaborating to use Central's 3D printer while completing project based learning around their recent literacy unit.

3rd graders combined economics and literature while reading "The Lemonade War" by Jacqueline Davies and completing a Shark Tank project. Students had to work with their groups to come up with an item to "pitch" to the sharks! Before they could do their pitch they had to calculate things like their costs per item, their profits, and how much they would be asking the sharks for in return for a percentage of their company. Check out who the sharks were!

You probably heard your Central student talking about our recent play, Finding Nemo, and how excited they were to either see it or be a part of it. We have some pretty awesome leaders (Mr. Kamm, Mrs. Slavens, and Mrs. Szepski) who made this whole thing a reality. Here are some long overdue photos of the wonderful performance by our amazing talented students!

Congratulations to 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Johnson, for being awarded Central's Teacher of the Year! We are so proud of you and fortunate to have you as a part of our Central family!
