2nd graders in Ms. Carmichael’s class read “How to Catch a Monster” and then created traps for their Blue Bot monster.

Our kindergartners got to experience their first field trip by visiting Beasley's Orchard to learn all about their apple picking, sorting, and selling process. Thanks to all of the parent volunteers who chaperoned and helped out! We love Fall in Indiana!

Mrs. Price, our librarian, helps bring a joy of learning and reading to our students on a daily basis! She helps our Central CHAMPS to learn how to find good-fit books that match their interests, she introduces them to new books/authors through read-alouds, plus much more!

We think it's pretty neat that our art teacher has the coolest name ever! We love Mrs. Brush and all of the creative ways that she engages our Central CHAMPS and helps them tap into their creativity.

We love our music teacher, Mr. Kamm! He helps our students learn in new and creative ways.

Second graders enjoyed their October odyssey to The Imagination Lab on Friday! We love the unique experiences that the lab brings to students and we LOVE our lead learner volunteers who come and spend time with us at the lab!

Our Central CHAMPS earned a kindness parade on Friday to celebrate all of our acts of kindness and donations received! It's not every day that you see 5th graders this excited! :)

The 4C's are in action daily in Plainfield's schools but The Imagination Lab always takes it above and beyond! Here are some 5th graders designing and printing 3D wobble coins at their Odyssey at The Imagination Lab.
Did you know that you can volunteer at the lab? Just view this website: https://sites.google.com/plainfield.k12.in.us/tilvolunteers

Thanks to our 5th graders in Mrs. Mosier's class for volunteering to help weed our playground garden throughout Central's Kindness Movement! What a great act of kindness this was.

Here are Mrs. Szpeski's and Mrs. O'Connor's classes learning from our school resource officer, Officer Scott, about his job as a police officer. Thank you, Officer Scott, for taking the time to come talk to our kindergartners!
