This past week at LQA our students had the ability to learn about the human body in a fun, hands on scientific approach. Our students were taught about the lungs, heart, bones, brain, body, and digestion.
Our skillful teachers, staff, and volunteers provided each student with a rich and challenging environment that allowed them to experience science through their senses. They became the scientists!
It has taken many hours of preparation and wonderful parent volunteers to pull this week off. We are thankful for every helping hand and every borrowed prop!
It is through these early learning years that we desire to build a basis for future scientific understanding, but also build important skills and attitudes for learning.
