📚✨ Our first graders have been hard at work learning the -at word family with the help of Splat the Cat! 🐾 The excitement grew even more when Nurse DeLaina surprised the class as the Mystery Reader. Since Splat is known for a few accidents, it was the perfect chance for her to share about her important job and a little about herself.

We are so proud of our students’ hard work and grateful to Nurse DeLaina for inspiring them with reading and real-life connections! ❤️

A few reminders for our Quaker Families: Monday, September 2nd: ALL SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED in observance of Labor Day. Tuesday, September 3rd: Teacher In-Service Day--All Plainfield Schools (except LQA Full-Day preschool) are CLOSED We'll see everyone back on Wednesday! Enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend!
