School Counselors Week is coming up, and we’re excited to celebrate Mrs. Selch, who does so much to support our students, staff, and families at Clarks Creek. 💙
Check out our dress-up days and join us in showing school spirit and gratitude all week long!

🤖 Three of our teams competed in Pittsboro, and three more teams will be in action at their next competition on February 14th.
We’re so proud of the teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance our students continue to show. Go Quakers! 🔴🔵

Our first graders recently celebrated 100 DAYS SMARTER 🧠🎈 and wrapped up their Fancy Nancy unit in the fanciest way possible — with a Fancy Evening for families! 💖👒
From counting 100 to dressing up fancy, reading, and sharing smiles with loved ones, our students showed off all the learning, creativity, and confidence they’ve built this year. 💯📚✨
We loved welcoming families into the fun and celebrating just how fancy learning can be at Clarks Creek! 💙❤️

School resumes on Monday, January 5, 2026

This week, our second graders learned all about Balloons Over Broadway and brought the magic of the Macy’s Parade right into our school halls!
Students explored the official parade route, discovered famous New York City landmarks, and then put their creativity to work. They designed their own balloon floats and even programmed them to travel the parade route—just like the real thing!
We are so proud of their imagination, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. 🎉
Way to go, 2nd grade! 🗽🎈

This week, our students celebrated Red Ribbon Week by learning how to make healthy, positive choices each day! ❤️💙
Thanks to our fabulous counselor, Mrs. Selch, for planning such meaningful activities! Students had the opportunity to:
✅ Participate in live morning announcements
✅ Win fun daily raffle prizes
✅ Sign our schoolwide Pledge Wall
✅ Learn about living a healthy, drug-free lifestyle
We’re so proud of our Clarks Creek Quakers for committing to make good choices and lead with PRIDE every day! 🌟

✨ Students helped plant flowers in the lab and spread joy by passing them out to teachers.
✨ During Thursday’s recess, first graders also rolled up their sleeves to clean up the school grounds and playground.
We are so proud of our Quakers for learning that helping the community starts right here at school. ❤️💙
