Don't forget that Central's Popsicles with the Principals and Supply Drop Off is Sunday, July 30th! This is an optional yet fun way for students to drop supplies off and see where their classroom is before the first day of school.
Due to parking, we ask that families of K-2 students come between 4-4:30 and 3rd-5th come between 4:30-5.

Central had a great Field Day on this beautiful Friday in May! Thanks goes out to Ms. Smith, our PTO, and all of the volunteers who helped to make it a success!

Our 5th graders enjoying the nice weather at outdoor recess!

Last week every single Central student got to participate in helping beautify our school by helping to plant native plants in one of the flower beds! It was such a great experience for all students and we are so appreciative of all of the adults that helped to make this amazing project possible!

3rd grade students enjoying some STEM team-building experiments and investigations.

We are so proud of our Robotics team who recently competed at the Worlds Competition in Dallas, Texas! What a great experience it was for them.

Central recently held an Intro. to Robotics camp for current 2nd-4th graders to learn about Robotics. It gave the younger students an opportunity to build, program, and drive a basic robot. It was a great turn-out and experience for everyone!

Congratulations to all of our 3rd-5th graders who rocked the ILEARN! We are very proud of all of your hard work!

2nd graders went outside for a habitat walk to notice plants and animals. They took notes about what they each needed in order to survive. Scientists at work!

Officer Rob and Jocko visited Mrs. Weaver’s class to read Dogarella and Dogzilla as a Walkathon experience prize for their high participation!

Congratulations to our Optimist Award recipients, Mrs. Mosier and Mrs. Stanley!

Teacher In-Service Day TOMORROW!

Thanks to our community partner, Plainfield Fire Territory, 4th graders were able to test their egg drop containers from the top of the ladder! It was a great experience for the students. Thank you to the firefighters who took the time to help make this happen!

Kindergarten enjoyed their field trip to the Indianapolis Zoo last week!

Feel free to come out and support our Central Robotics team that is going to Worlds by eating at City BBQ and Los Patios!

Our PTO does such an amazing job of supporting our school. Last week, they brought in some furry friends to visit classes that had 50% or more registration for the Walkathon. The students, bunny, and baby chicks all loved it!

We are so fortunate to have supportive families within our Central family and that support really showed with the funds raised throughout the Walkathon. The entire school got to watch as these 3 lucky students got to slime Mrs. Thacker for their fundraising efforts. We love the Walkathon and we love seeing Mrs. Thacker get slimed!

Last week our 4th graders rocked the ILEARN! This week the 5th graders are showing the test whose boss. And next week we will cheer on our 3rd graders as they show their smarts!
Our teachers and families work so hard to help the students feel motivated, supported, and stress-free come testing time. Just one example is having families write an encouraging letter/poster for their locker!
