Expect to be surrounded by well-dressed, poised & savvy high school students if you're downtown Indy Sun - Tue! The state DECA finals will be underway, and we're wishing nearly 60 PHS students all the best as they make their final preparations! #QuakerFaces @IndianaDECA

School board members Scott Flood and Brad DuBois visited PHS today, and caught Mr. Peters teaching an important Calculus lesson on how a wise investment today can pay off down the road. And yes, he really IS using an overhead projector, with a smart board & financial calculator!

Least isn't always best, but when most people think about tax rates, they tend to prefer small numbers. Plainfield Community School Corporation delivers!

Excited to share that PHS swim senior, Max Wiser, is in the running for IndyStar Athlete of the Week! Cast your vote here: https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/high-school/2019/02/19/vote-indystar-athletes-week-feb-11-16/2919469002/

Well, I was so engrossed in another project all day that I almost forgot we have a board meeting this evening! 7 pm, Admin Building, Door 2. Hope to see you there!

It's an important stage in project construction when the new sign goes up on a building. Van Buren achieved that status earlier today! With several updates, including a more secure front office, the 63-year old school is looking great! #QuakerFaces #ThePlainfieldWay

Congratulations to PHS Senior Victoria (Tori) Kinnamon, who was just named a National Merit Finalist! Tori is an outstanding student-athlete who plans to study biochemistry at Grinnell College in Iowa, where she will also compete on their swim team. #QuakerFaces @GrinnellCollege

Just a reminder that school will be in session on Friday, February 15th, as our snow make-up day from January 30th. School will still be closed, as planned, on Monday, February 18th.

LOTS of flu, colds, nasty stuff being shared too generously. Please help children remember to wash their hands with soap and water!

Nominations are now open for the 2020 Plainfield Schools Teacher-of-the-Year! Students 17 and older, their parents and community members are encouraged to participate in one of an educator's greatest honors! https://www.plainfield.k12.in.us/teacher-of-the-year

Great crowd on hand to watch Femmes perform here in mere moments!

Femmes Fatales are preparing for their performance - they take the stage at 6:56!

These two student-athletes are about to dive in the @IHSAA state finals! Best of luck, #QuakerFaces!!

About to start Session 1 of 6th Grade Career Day in a classroom filled with student creations. Love it!

PHS students are supporting St. Mark's Food Pantry and our neighbors this week, as they SACK HUNGER!

We turned the calendar page to February last week, which means it's time to post the Community Value of the month: Honesty!

It’s been a great morning for LQA registration, and we are excited to let you know that we still have spots for full- and half-day children! Registration is open until 12:30 this afternoon, and from 5-6:30 this evening. After today, call 317-754-2375 to schedule a time to register.

Thankfully it’s a little warmer today, and these excited future Little Quakers’ parents are ready to get inside to register for next year! #QuakerFaces

Tomorrow, Thursday, January 31, Plainfield Schools will observe a two-hour delay. Bus and parent drop-off times will simply shift two hours later.
We look forward to seeing students tomorrow morning!
