Today is May 1st and the beginning of "May is Mental Health Month." We'll spend time this month talking about mental wellness and providing resources and information for parents and students. But first, this daily calendar is a great example of how we can take care of ourselves!

Congratulations go out to PHS Senior, Brigham Anderson, who was just named an Indiana Academic All-Star. Brigham will be attending Wabash College this fall!

Rain or shine the Guinness World Record car washing event continues until 7 pm at the NAPA headquarters, Perry Rd & Stout Heritage age Parkway! $5 donation.

Look at these outstanding educators, honored this evening by the Plainfield Optimist Club. Representing Saint Susanna, Brentwood, Central, Clarks Creek and Van Buren, as well as PCMS and PHS, each school selected one teacher and one support staff for the award. Congratulations!

Might be dreary outside, but it’s a bright night inside as the Plainfield Optimist Club celebrate teachers and support staff tonight. Always a special evening.

Tonight's the night! The Hendricks County Career Fair will take place from 6-8 pm at the Plainfield High School Fieldhouse!

This is going to be a gorgeous evening for the 5th Grade Track Meet, Community Wellness Fair and Food Trucks! Admission is free, and all events will be held at Red Pride Stadium (Plainfield High School). The Wellness Fair & Food Trucks begin at 5; track meet begins at 6.

PHS students will be performing this weekend in the spring play, "Pride & Prejudice." What a great opportunity to enjoy a classic in the comfort of the PHS Auditorium!

Members of the PHS HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) club have had a great few days at their first state conference: 15 Top Ten finishes, one state officer, and one 2nd place recipient who moves on to international competition! Congratulations to all who participated!
