A team of talented twins brought home this year's Battle of the Books trophy to Central Elementary. Each year 4th and 5th grade students can participate in this competition that includes the other three Plainfield elementary schools. Students read books from a select list of Newberry Award winners and then answer questions in a 4 person team format. The winning team from Central consisted of Sydney, Jackson, Olivia and Sydney -- two sets of twins! This team, called Twin Power, went on to win the Championship Battle against Van Buren, Clarks Creek and Brentwood elementaries and was crowned the overall winner! Congrats Twin Power! We're proud of you!
