All of the students have loved being able to get outside for recess this week with the warmer temperatures!
Congratulations to all of Central's Robotics Teams for their hard work and determination at the Heritage Christian Robotics Competition last Saturday! A big shout out to Team 11999D for placing 1st in Skills, 2nd in TeamWork, and receiving the Think Award. They are now 1st place in skills in Indiana and 15th in the nation! We are proud of all of our teams and their perseverance and growth!

These 3rd grade Rising Stars were celebrated recently at their grade level Central Celebration! Every grade has an end of the quarter celebration in which students are recognized for various achievements.

5th graders crafted their very own paper airplanes, flew them around the room, and wrote down prepositional phrases to describe the landing of their planes!

Congratulations to Jack from Mrs. McKinney's 3rd grade class for being selected as our school's value of the month for November! He was recently recognized at the December School Board Meeting.
Did you know that Central has a Robotics team for grades 3rd-5th? Students meet weekly in the Fall and Winter and begin competitions in the early winter.

Math snowball fight in Mrs. Bitar's 3rd grade as a part of celebrating "snow day"! So much fun.
Thanks @quakersimagine for a great December Odyssey for our 3rd graders! Artist in Residence Ron Braun led the students in creating their very own comic book! Mr. Braun wrote the comic and a "thumbnail Sketch" for each student and then the students were off to create!
CONGRATULATIONS! Central's Battle of the Books team "Better Name Than That (Again)" won the district-wide competition this morning! We are so proud of you all and happy to return the trophy to Central!
