First @HarlemWizards student convo of the day, at Van Buren Elementary. Lots of excited students, learning about basketball and being good friends.

Today was Polar Express Day for our full-day Little Quakers, and the cuteness overload factor was in full force! From PJs, stuffed lovies, the amazing decor and hot cocoa after naps ... wouldn't we ALL love a Polar Express Day?! #QuakerFaces

Enjoy great basketball in a beautiful setting, and be downtown to take in the many holiday traditions - all in one evening and for a great price!

Congrats to '07 @PHSQuakers grad, Stephen Copeland, as his first solo book launches this evening at Indy Reads Books, 911 Mass Ave. Check out his blog & site here: https://www.copelandwrites.com/ We love seeing the many ways #QuakerFaces go out and take on this great big world!

11.22.18 Happy Thanksgiving! May you enjoy a day of warmth, good food and moments that create wonderful memories for the future. #QuakerFaces

11.21.18 Giving thanks today to all who see to it that the hungry are fed. Whether they serve in food pantries, food rescue or even those preparing the wonderful community meal tomorrow, we are all better because of their example. #QuakerFaces

11.20.18 Giving thanks today to our parents. They are tireless in their dedication to their children, our teachers and schools, and the teams, bands, choirs, and ALL of the other activities that serve students so well. We couldn't do all that we do without your support!

It's Thanksgiving Week!

11.19.18 It seems appropriate that we honor our Food Services team today, for the work they do throughout the year to ensure that students enjoy healthy, tasty meals. This week will feature some traditional Thanksgiving favorites, which we know will be a big hit!

11.16.18 So grateful to our Department of Public Works for the hard work they do year-round. Yesterday's work including clearing the roads of ice and slush in the morning, followed by leaf pick-up in the afternoon! Thank you for all you do!

For today, Thursday, November 15, 2018, Plainfield Community Schools will be on a two-hour delay. Bus pick-ups, student drop-off and school start times will occur two hours later than normal. Please be safe as you venture out this morning!

11.14.18 Thankful for the amazing teachers and instructional assistants who work with our students to help them achieve their very best, and to grow their minds and imaginations. #QuakerFaces

This week our JV Winter Guard call-outs take place, and NEW this year - 8th grade students are included! Monday & Wednesday, 6-9 pm in the PCMS East Gym - more info in the flyer.

11.9.18 So grateful for the veterans who visited Brentwood Elementary today to read to students and share their stories of their service to our country. Students had great questions and learned many facts about our modern and historic military. #QuakerFaces

Tonight's board meeting begins in 23 minutes, and if you can't be here, we'll be streaming the student honors (and MAYBE another surprise) via Facebook Live. Hope to see you, in person or online!

State Senator John Crane is welcoming everyone to today’s School Safety Summit. Attendees include many education and public safety officials from throughout Central Indiana, plus some PHS students. Today’s theme is SOS: Safeguarding our Students.

Looking forward to some great discussion today!

These days and weeks seem to by flying by, just like the leaves have flown off the trees this week!
It's already time for the November School Board meeting - tonight at 7 pm in the Administration Building's Board Room. We hope you'll join us; enter via Door #2.

11.8.18 Grateful this morning for the facilities we have at PCSC. We'll host a Safety Summit today, put on by Congressman Todd Rokita, and tonight is the monthly School Board meeting. We love bringing people into our community and our buildings, and this is just one example.

11.7.18 We're grateful for our School Board members, including Jessica Elston, just elected to her 2nd term, and Brad DuBois, who joins the board in January! Their pay is minimal, the hours are long, but their dedication, insight and passion for our students is top-notch!
