11.9.18 So grateful for the veterans who visited Brentwood Elementary today to read to students and share their stories of their service to our country. Students had great questions and learned many facts about our modern and historic military. #QuakerFaces

Tonight's board meeting begins in 23 minutes, and if you can't be here, we'll be streaming the student honors (and MAYBE another surprise) via Facebook Live. Hope to see you, in person or online!

State Senator John Crane is welcoming everyone to today’s School Safety Summit. Attendees include many education and public safety officials from throughout Central Indiana, plus some PHS students. Today’s theme is SOS: Safeguarding our Students.

Looking forward to some great discussion today!

These days and weeks seem to by flying by, just like the leaves have flown off the trees this week!

11.7.18 We're grateful for our School Board members, including Jessica Elston, just elected to her 2nd term, and Brad DuBois, who joins the board in January! Their pay is minimal, the hours are long, but their dedication, insight and passion for our students is top-notch!

We are thrilled to share the news that a holiday tradition will be returning to Plainfield this year, and we invite the community to help us celebrate. Thank you to the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce for partnering with us to Light the Tree!

We've added a new Q&A to our document library, and are sharing it with you here. It covers school bus safety, reviews what students are taught by their bus drivers, and includes a graphic that explains Indiana laws regarding school buses. http://5il.co/5i3e
