Central Clubs Connection

This is the last edition of the Central Clubs Connection. This series has been focused on Central Elementary’s student clubs. This series, Central Clubs Connection, is meant to give you some insight into Central, beyond just its daily activities and academics.

This week’s focus is on our K-Kids Ambassadors Club, co-sponsored by Maisie Smith, Courtney Carmichael, and Anne Johnson.

Central Clubs Connection

Spotlight on our K-Kids Ambassadors

K-Kids Ambassadors is a club that is rooted in service. The goal of this club is to help nurture leadership skills while teaching/modeling the importance of serving others and giving back. Any student in 4th or 5th grade is able to join the club and the club will run the entire school year. Students meet before school once a month at 8 am. Currently, K-Kids Ambassadors is partnering with PTO to help promote Central's Gift Kindness Food Drive and the school's Family Service Night on October 4th. Some other service projects the club has planned for the first semester are a canned food drive for Thanksgiving, a toy drive in December, and caroling at a retirement community around the holidays!
