The Central Scoop, our new student newspaper, is created monthly by 15-20 third-grade students. They have expressed an interest in journalism and volunteered to be on the staff. These students spend one recess a week writing current event stories, interviewing staff members, looking up facts on specific story topics, creating art, and editing the content. They have really come together to create a great product!
