STEAM Friday welcomed spring 💐with this week’s activities! Students explored chromatography by coloring on coffee filters and watching the color separate in water. Brentwood 4th grade students enjoyed a field trip to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway! 🏎 They participated in several STEM stations while implementing the 4 C’s! A few of their favorite stations included a mini soap box derby 🚙, a visit to the famous yard of bricks 🧱, and an opportunity to wave the flags! 🏁

Did you know that our heart🫀beats about 1,900 gallons of blood each day or 1.3 gallons per minute?⏱Students tried to work as fast as our heart during STEAM Friday to try to move 1.3 gallons 🪣of water from one bucket to another in 1 minute!
