Danielle Bell to Serve on ISBA Nominating Committee
Plainfield– Danielle Bell, school board member for the Plainfield Community School Corporation, has been appointed to the Nominating Committee of the Indiana School Boards Association (ISBA).
ISBA meets annually to select a slate of Officers and Regional Directors for the Association. ISBA’a committee’s selections are presented to the ISBA Delegate Assembly for formal approval at the Fall Conference, which is scheduled this year for October 3-4 at the Indiana Convention Center.
ISBA’s 10-person Nominating Committee is composed of one school board member from each of ISBA’s 10 geographic regions.
The committee met virtually on July 20 to consider nominees for ISBA President, Vice-President, and Second Vice-President, as well as four Regional Director positions.
“ISBA received many strong applications this year from school board members willing to take on a leadership role with the Association,” said ISBA Executive Director Terry Spradlin. “The members of the Nominating Committee have difficult decisions to make.”
