The Plainfield School Board has completed its review of the 16 applications submitted to fill the seat of Katie Chamness Parker. The Board will interview seven finalists on Wednesday, December 16, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Administration Building’s board room. The public is welcome to attend, but questions will only be asked by school board members.
The seven finalists are Heidi Babkowski, Danielle Bell, Duane Gibbs, Doug Hartman, Carrie Meyer, Amanda Mullenix, and Shariq Ahmed Siddiqui.
The Board hopes to complete the selection process by December 17, but may conduct additional rounds of interviews and deliberation if needed.
The School Board members expressed their appreciation to everyone who applied, noting that the candidates represent wide-ranging backgrounds and experience, with all candidates presenting impressive credentials and qualifications.
