Mrs. Johnson's joy for teaching is so palpable, it's impossible to not see how she shares that joy for learning with her students. She has an infectious way of engaging with students that encourages them to work harder, think outside the box, and see how they can make the world a better place.
Last week, she was surprised by visitors from the Indiana Department of Education, including the current Teacher of the Year! They presented her with a plaque to commemorate her accomplishment, along with observing her in her element--her classroom full of eager 4th graders.
We're so proud of Mrs. Johnson for showing yet again how many incredible educators we have in Plainfield Schools! ✨
