Today, Plainfield Schools proudly welcomed TWENTY-EIGHT (28!) new teachers to our district! While not our largest cohort ever, it’s still an incredible group—and we’re eager to see the energy, passion, and expertise they’ll bring to our classrooms.
For some, landing a job here has been a long-awaited goal—waiting patiently for just the right opening. Others are Plainfield graduates returning home to teach where their own learning began. And several have joined us from other districts, drawn by Plainfield’s reputation for excellence.
No matter how they got here, we’re glad they’re now part of our team.
These educators will participate in a yearlong “New Teacher Orientation” program, meeting monthly for training, collaboration, and support. Our goal is to make sure they feel confident, connected, and ready to thrive in their first year with us.
Please join us in welcoming these newest members of the Quaker family as they help us continue Bringing Joy to Learning!
