Our school board recently received significant recognition at the state level, earning the distinguished 'Commendable Board' designation for 2024 as part of the Indiana School Board Association's Exemplary Governance Awards program.
With only 124 school boards in the state of Indiana receiving awards, this honor recognizes boards that demonstrate exceptional leadership, decision-making, and commitment to educational excellence across the district. This achievement reflects the board's dedication to maintaining high standards of governance and their ongoing efforts to support student success.
In addition to the collective honor, congratulations to several individual board members that received personal recognition for their outstanding contributions to education in our community--Mrs. Jessica Elston, Mrs. Danielle Bell, and Mr. Brad DuBois. These individual accolades highlight the exceptional talent and dedication present on our school board. For more information and individual awards, click here: https://www.isba-ind.org/ega.html
The district also celebrated another remarkable achievement as Rochelle Campbell, PCSC’s payroll coordinator, was named the Indiana Association of School Business Officials' School Support Professional of the Year. This prestigious award acknowledges Campbell's exemplary service and her vital role in maintaining efficient school operations.
The awards were presented during recent ceremonies that brought together educational leaders from across the state. These recognitions represent countless hours of hard work and an unwavering commitment to our students' futures. Our entire community can take pride in knowing our schools are guided by such dedicated leadership.
