Fourth grade students collaborated to engineer a moon rover, a type of all terrain vehicle (ATV), out of items such as corrugated cardboard, straws, pencils, and rubber bands. This ATV needed to be designed to crawl along the moon's dusty, rugged terrain. They had to keep in mind that Astronauts will need rovers to drive across the moon's surface, carry supplies, help build their outpost, and explore the area.
