Today is 20 Years of National DNA Day! In 1953 Rosalind Franklin (ask your 2-5 students about her!) along with James Watson and Francis Crick discovered and published papers on the discovery of the double helix structure of DNA. During our Odysseys earlier in the school year for students in grades 2-5 we learned more about DNA, and students crafted their own 3D model to take home! #QuakersImagine #NationalDNADay

The Imagination Lab and the Friends of the Lab are hosting an event to support bringing art to life for all K-5 students! Join us on May 6 from 6 - 8:30 pm for appetizers and desserts, interactive art and artisan displays, music, and a silent auction. You’ll learn about the lab’s Artist-in-Residence program, the goal for students to experience art by working with an artist or artisan, and how you can help.
