The Brentwood Bots, fourth and fifth grade students, competed in their first competition of the season on Saturday. Congratulations to Team A (Drew, Ryder, Andrew, Carter, and Matthew) for bringing home Brentwood's first Robotics trophy for winning the Skills Challenge championship which is a combined score of driving and programming. The Brentwood Bots A's skills score is currently ranked 13th in the world, 4th in the US, and 1st in Indiana!!
Three of the five teams made it to the finals by placing in the top 10 out of 27 teams during qualifications with the fourth team being very close. Communication, collaboration, and perseverance were in the forefront as each team did their best to troubleshoot and make adjustments throughout the day.
