Every year on March 2nd, you're sure to see students in elementary schools having fun while reading. March 2nd is celebrated as Read Across America Day. Within the walls of Central last Wednesday, one was able to see students having lots of fun while a joy for reading and learning was created. 5th-grade students read to their Kindergarten Book Buddies. 1st-grade students brought in towels and read all around their classrooms. The cafeteria even served green eggs and ham for lunch! Check out the pictures below for a snapshot of the day.
