Brentwood's 5th grade high ability reading students have been enjoying the novel The Egypt Game. This novel, written in 1967, is a Newbery Honor-winning novel by Zilpha Keatley Snyder and is set in a small college town in California. The novel follows the creation of a sustained imaginative game by a group of six children. Brentwood and Clarks Creek students recently made their own games relating to this novel at their own buildings. They then had the opportunity to get together and share their respective games with one another.
