According to scolorshipstats.com, the average athletic scholarship for men who play varsity sports is just south of $5,500. For women, the average size of their athletic scholarship is just north of $6,500. And that is far from the average tuition costs of $14,000 for each student-athlete each year. You can get an athletic scholarship for basically any sport but there are factors for this opportunity. These factors are the sport you play, your divisional level of competition (DI vs. DII vs. DIII), and the school you wish to attend. Therefore earning an athletic scholarship may pay for some of your college costs, but you also need to keep up with studying. So, would you have enough drive to go for a college athletic scholarship or an academic scholarship to get into your “dream school”

Yesterday the girls soccer team won a great game against Decatur 9-0!

Mary Reynolds, Arianna Edwards with 2, and Camryn Leisher with 3.

Lots of names but lots of talent. Good job ladies, let's have a great game this Thursday against Lebanon.

The PCMS Quakers provided an onerous and pugnacious blitzkrieg to the opposing Decatur Hawks last night. Our team’s aptitude and finesse with the ball and clear communication skills were easily distinguished in the subsequent thirty shots on frame compared to the solitary shot Decatur acquired in 60 minutes of play. Players earning an panegyric are Kasey Davis (with his first hat trick of the season), Mason Birke, Keenan Hovermale, and Luke Clark! Each of these players, accompanied by Aidan Menke, would go on to secure assists throughout the duration of play as well! Last night’s triumph was dedicated to our patres and matres familias that are so zealous for our success on and off the field. Keep on winnin’ boys

Last night volleyball was in action against Cascade. Both 7th and 8th grade won to finish out the regular season with winning records. Come out on Wednesday to cheer on our lady quakers in the County tournament at 5.

At Dave Landes, the Girls finished 2nd out of 7 teams. Veronica Hargrave finished first individually and was followed by top performances from Anna Elston, Riley Mehringer, Natalie Restivo, Claudia Vanbibber, Mia Bammann, and Jessica Price. The Boys finished 5th out of 7 teams with top performances from Emeson Nehring, Henry Lamb, Jackson Wright, Jakob Nehring, Nolan Birke, Addison Neuen, and Trent Tomaswezki.

The boys golf team completed their season with a 3rd place finish in the conference tournament. Ian Perry lead the way with a 39 and 4th place finish in the tournament. Spencer Crum added a 44, followed by Landon Conyer's 45. J.J. Hopper closed out the scoring with a 46. The Quakers finished with a 14-2 record overall and an 9-0 regular season record. Great job men. See you in the spring.

When the Quakers and Falcons stepped onto the field last night we knew this wasn’t going to be any ordinary “chicken fight”. The Falcons came to win and your Quakers came to stop them! In one of the most intense, aggressive, and challenging matches of the season, Plainfield made sure the undefeated Perry team knew it wasn’t going to be easy! With strong help from our defensive line (including a major save by both Grayson Richmond and Joseph Sloan) and the ninja skills from keeper Chase Bollinger the Quakers held the attacking Perry Meridian team at bay for the majority of the game. With a final score of 0 to 3, your Plainfield Quakers may have lost, but they are more ready than ever to defend their championship title against this southside team! Get ready for the next one men
