Last night the 8th grade baseball team traveled to Mooresville to play the Pioneers. We hit the ball hard and played some solid defense, but ultimately left too many runners on base and suffered the 4-2 loss. The team finished the season with a 10-2 record and is one of the only teams in school history to reach double digit wins in a season.

The Lady Quaker tennis team lost a tight match to the Westfield Shamrocks 3-2 on Wednesday

. Varsity winners were Audrey Harper at #1 singles, Emma Kessinger at #2 singles, and Olivia Huff and #1 reserve singles. The team finished with an impressive 7-3 record on the year. Great season, ladies!

2018-19 cheerleading results will be posted at 230 on the front office door and Mr. Dones door.

The 8th Grade Softball team lost 12-3 to Brownsburg West. Kaylee Daviau, Haley Quinn, Hannah Bailey, and Grace Wilson each had a hit.

7th grade baseball team completed the sweep of Brownsburg West with a come from behind victory. Noah Hessong knocked in the go ahead run in the top of the 6th inning and the Quakers never looked back. The win improves the team's record to 10 wins and 1 loss. Great games guys! Come out and cheer the team on tonight as they battle rival Paul Hadley, at home, in their final game of the season.

Last night the 8th grade baseball game wasn’t pretty, but it was exciting! Yet again the team was down 5-1 early in the game to Brownsburg West. The team battled back to tie the game 5-5 and then, in the bottom of the 6th, a 2 run home run gave the team a 7-5 lead. Solid defense in the 7th inning secured the team’s 10th win of the year. The win improves the team’s record to 10-1 on the year. Thanks to all of the students and the softball team for their support last night!

Last night the eighth grade girls basketball team got off to a slow start, but after an exciting second-quarter only trail by four at the half. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs made more place in the second half as the Quakers lost to the Bulldogs.The girls will be back in action at home this Saturday.

The Plainfield wrestling team improved their dual meet record to 3-0 by defeating Decatur 77-39.

The 7th grade boys lost a tough game to Brownsburg 45-41. We finished 14-6 and conference champs. Congrats on a great year.

. Basketball fans…Both 7th and 8th grade Boys’ Basketball teams advanced to the semi-finals of the Hendricks County Tournament last night with a win over Cascade. Tonight, the Bulldogs from Brownsburg East will be in the house. 7th Grade tip-off time is 5:00. Come out and support your teams. Please note that admission for all students is $4.00. PCMS spirit wear shirts and other passesDO NOT allow free admission to tournament games!

The 7th grade boys team did it again to run their record to 14-5 with a hard fought win against a strong Cascade team by a score of 38 to 43. Unselfish play was the key to the win.

The Plainfield Wrestling team won the Paul Hadley invitational on Saturday. The Quakers beat out 17 teams for the top spot honors. In addition to the team title, individual champions were Noah Davis, Harrison Hrbeck, Cameron Allen, Conor Holt, Jacob Sheets, and Thomas Hayes.

7th Grade girls basketball won vs Avon South 47 to 10. Leading scorers were Jozee Rhodes, Audrey Tallent, Taylor Haltom, and Shannon Olejnik. Great effort by all!

Last night the 8th grade girls basketball team fell short against Avon South, the team will be back in action next Wednesday at home vs. Brownsburg.

The 7th grade boys basketball team played the game of the year to win the the Mid-State Championship by a score of 36 to 34 over a very talented Whiteland team last night. Unselfish play was the key to the huge win.

Basketball fans…Monday begins the Hendricks County Boys’ Basketball Tournament. In Round 1, we play Cascade here beginning at 5:00 with the 7th Grade Tip-off. Let’s “Pack The House” because “We Are A Big Deal"

The 7th grade boys won again against Greenwood last night by a score of 48 to 35 to improve to 12-5 on the year. We play for the Mid-State Championship tonight against Whiteland. Unselfish play was the key to the win

The 7th grade boys beat a strong Mooresville team last night in overtime 34 to 31. We are now 11-5 on the year. Unselfish play was the key in the win. We are in action again Wednesday against Greenwood in the semifinals of the mid-state.

The Plainfield middle school wrestling team is 2-0 after defeating tri-west 93-12 and defeating Avon North 68-32.

Last night the 8th grade girls team kicked off their season hosting the Perry Meridian Falcons. Both teams played hard, but unfortunately the Quakers came up short 31-34.The team will be back in action at home tomorrow night at 6:15.

Last night against Perry meridian, Jozee Rhodes was our leading scorer with 10 points.

Over the weekend the 8th grade boys B team came in 3rd place in the Zionsville B tournament. The team lost to Carmel 18-35 in the first round, but got hot in their second game and beat Southport 32-18. Good season guys!
