Parents of new students to Plainfield High School and freshmen for the 2018-19 school year, please mark your calendars for orientation on July 24th.
Students will attend an orientation program from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., during which time they will receive a tour of the building, hear from a panel of upperclassmen and receive other information that will enable them to become more comfortable with Plainfield High School as we approach the 2018-19 school year. Please note that students should enter through Door 1 at the high school.
Lunch, club fair and device distribution will occur between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. for freshmen and new students only.
The administration and counselors will then hold a parent orientation meeting that evening in the auditorium at 6:00 p.m. While similar information will be covered, it will be focused on matters of importance to parents, not students. Parents should also enter through Door 1.
