Meet the New Teachers: PCMS

Ms. Delks, Speech – Language Pathology (Speech Therapy) for PCMS & PHS

  • Grew up in Elkhart; lived in Indiana her whole life
  • Attended Indiana University, Saint Mary’s College
  • Favorite hobbies, pastimes: “I love fashion, home decorating, spending time outdoors and being with my friends and family. In middle school and high school, I danced competitively, played volleyball and was a band member.”
  • Favorite memory as a young student: “I loved attending all the sporting events!”

 

Ms. Giesting, 7th Grade Math                                                                                      

  • Grew up in Shelbyville; has lived in Indiana her whole life
  • Attended IUPUI
  • Favorite hobbies, pastimes: hiking, reading, trivia, cooking/baking
  • Favorite memory as a young student: Getting involved in school activities such as volleyball, basketball, drama and student council

 

Ms. Meyers, 6th Grade English/Language Arts

  • Grew up in Shelbyvillle; has lived in Indiana her whole life, but loves to travel!
  • Attended Ball State University
  • Favorite hobbies, pastimes: reading, hiking, playing volleyball and tennis, crocheting, learning new things
  • Favorite memory as a young student: “I was elected captain of the English Academic Team as a 6th grader, and loved every minute!”

 

Ms. Porcelli, 7th Grade English/Language Arts             

  • Grew up in Corydon; has lived in North Carolina and Indiana
  • Attended Indiana University
  • Favorite hobbies, pastimes: hiking, cooking
  • Favorite memory as a young student: Getting my first flip phone and playing club volleyball

 

Ms. Siefert, Family and Consumer Science (FACS)

  • Grew up in Batesville; lived in Indiana her whole life
  • Attended Ball State University
  • Favorite hobbies, pastimes: “I love to bake, read, do crafts and take my dog on walks.”
  • Favorite memory as a young student: “Completing a course in education professions in high school where I was able to be in a FACS classroom as a teacher’s assistant.”
