After completing a nationwide search that included candidates from Indiana and other states, the Plainfield School Board in 2008 selected Plainfield High School Principal Scott Olinger as the Corporation's next Superintendent of Schools.
With Bachelor's and Masters degrees from Butler University, most of Scott's teaching career took place in Central Indiana. In 2002, he was named Principal of Batesville High School. Before moving to Plainfield High School in 2005, Scott was named District 10 Principal of the Year.
Scott earned his Education Specialist degree from Indiana State University in 2005.
Plainfield stakeholders were asked for their input into the selection of the superintendent, and recommendations included someone who was a community-minded leader, focused on and committed to students. In addition, having a vision, being an excellent communicator and an outstanding role model topped the list.
Scott and his wife, Heather, live in Plainfield where their three daughters have graduated from, or are attending, Plainfield schools.

Charged with coordination of curriculum, instruction, assessment and professional development, Pat will focus on the needs of students and staff of Plainfield Schools.
Mr. Jud Wolfe, Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations
Jud Wolfe is assistant superintendent for finance & operations for Plainfield Community School Corporation.
Jud began his career with Plainfield Schools in 1981 as an instructor of business and physical education classes in addition to coaching football and basketball. In 1989 he left Plainfield to serve the next fifteen years as assistant principal, associate superintendent and assistant superintendent for schools in Nashville, Indianapolis, and Greenwood, Indiana, returning to PCSC in 2004.
Mr. Wolfe earned his bachelor's degree (1981) from Indiana State University and his master's degree (1987) and Ed.S. (1991) from Indiana University. He is actively involved with the Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents and Indiana Association of School Business Officials.
