The PTO Winter Rec Night is tonight! There will be games, inflatables, a DJ, basketball, Nitro Ball and more! There is a $5 entry fee (free for PTO Members and volunteer families). Concessions are available for $1. 6th grade is 5:30-7:00 PM --- 7th/8th grade is 7:30-9:00 PM

Movie Club on Monday, February 26th in Room 815 until 3:45pm. Make sure you bring your own snack and drink! Have your ride meet you at Door 17!

The PCMS Red Pride Dance Club performed last night for the first time at PCMS. All of your hard work and dedication paid off! Some of you, it was your first time performing in front of a crowd! You all did a wonderful job! Ms. Amos is so proud of you! We will meet next on Thursday, March 8th in Room 815 until 3:45pm.

Last night the A team for your 7th grade Lady Quakers took a very hard fall to the Chapel Hill Lady Giants. All was not lost, however, as your B team players came back with a vengeance to take a 21-16 win in the second game of the night! In a hard pressed & physical match, these girls played solid defense, rebounded like champions, and united as a team to bring down the Giants and add another win to their season record. Excellent work ladies, keep it up!

The PCMS swimming and diving team continued its winning ways by defeating Decatur Middle school in convincing fashion. The girls won 130 to 55 and the boys won 114 to 60. The swimmers continue to put up great times. Maddie Gaitan, Aubrey Paschal, Nate Bolinger and Xander Straw all had impressive time drops in their events last evening. The Quaker divers continued their dominance on the boards by taking all three places in both boys and girls. Olivia Carrico and Sam Beebe scored personal best on the boards. Way to go Quakers!

The eighth-grade girls basketball team defeated Danville last night 46 to 13. In scoring; Jozee Rhodes had 12 points, Ellie Wilkerson and Audrey Harper with 10 points each, Audrey Talent with 7 points, Shannon Olejnik with 4 points and Matea parks with 1.

Your undefeated lady Quakers take on Chapel Hill on Thursday at home. Game time is at 5:15 - come out and support the girls!

The Plainfield wrestling team improved their dual meet record to 3-0 by defeating Decatur 77-39.

The 7th grade boys lost a tough game to Brownsburg 45-41. We finished 14-6 and conference champs. Congrats on a great year.

The Boys’ Basketball teams extend a big thanks to the PCMS students for your support last night in the semi-finals of the County tournament and all season long. Both games were hard-fought and you represented well. Come out and pick right back up where you left off as the 7th and 8th girls play Brownsburg East here tonight at 5:00. . Basketball fans…Both 7th and 8th grade Boys’ Basketball teams advanced to the semi-finals of the Hendricks County Tournament last night with a win over Cascade. Tonight, the Bulldogs from Brownsburg East will be in the house. 7th Grade tip-off time is 5:00. Come out and support your teams. Please note that admission for all students is $4.00. The Plainfield Wrestling team won the Paul Hadley invitational on Saturday. The Quakers beat out 17 teams for the top spot honors. In addition to the team title, individual champions were Noah Davis, Harrison Hrbeck, Cameron Allen, Conor Holt, Jacob Sheets, and Thomas Hayes.

7th Grade girls basketball won vs Avon South 47 to 10. Leading scorers were Jozee Rhodes, Audrey Tallent, Taylor Haltom, and Shannon Olejnik. Great effort by all!

Last night the 8th grade girls basketball team fell short against Avon South, the team will be back in action next Wednesday at home vs. Brownsburg.

The 7th grade boys basketball team played the game of the year to win the the Mid-State Championship by a score of 36 to 34 over a very talented Whiteland team last night. Unselfish play was the key to the huge win.

Basketball fans…Monday begins the Hendricks County Boys’ Basketball Tournament. In Round 1, we play Cascade here beginning at 5:00 with the 7th Grade Tip-off. Let’s “Pack The House” because “We Are A Big Deal"

The 7th grade boys beat a strong Mooresville team last night in overtime 34 to 31. We are now 11-5 on the year. Unselfish play was the key in the win. We are in action again Wednesday against Greenwood in the semifinals of the mid-state.

The Plainfield middle school wrestling team is 2-0 after defeating tri-west 93-12 and defeating Avon North 68-32.

Last night the 8th grade girls team kicked off their season hosting the Perry Meridian Falcons. Both teams played hard, but unfortunately the Quakers came up short 31-34.The team will be back in action at home tomorrow night at 6:15.

Last night against Perry meridian, Jozee Rhodes was our leading scorer with 10 points.

Over the weekend the 8th grade boys B team came in 3rd place in the Zionsville B tournament. The team lost to Carmel 18-35 in the first round, but got hot in their second game and beat Southport 32-18. Good season guys!
