Plainfield High School AP Physics students hosted a Physics for All event in the end of January to help fund scholarships for elementary PCSC students to attend Camp Invention at Central Elementary this summer, a camp teaching kids grades 1 through 6 the many wonders of science.

On March 11-13, Plainfield High School's DECA chapter had 66 students compete in the DECA State Competition in Indianapolis. Students competed in a variety of marketing, management and entrepreneurship events. PHS received the Diamond Level Award for their DECA week campaign as well as the Summit Level Award for a project submitted by Breanna Segovia, senior and president of PHS DECA. Junior Michelle Goda was elected District 8 President. Michelle will now have the responsibility to provide her leadership to the other DECA chapters in her district including Brownsburg, Avon, Martinsville, Ben Davis, and Decatur.
