A Workshop for Elementary School Parents

This workshop is being put on by the Indiana Partnerships Center, and is for all parents of students in the four Plainfield Elementary Schools.  The parents will be taught hands-on activities and games to use to improve their child’s reading skills.   This will take place in the cafeteria at Van Buren Elementary School, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1^st.  It is a free opportunity, and there will also be child–care at no cost to the parents.  Every parent will also receive a packet of ideas to use.   There will be raffle items and snacks as well to enjoy.
